Refund and Cancellation Policy

This policy governs the cancellation and refund terms for payments made on the openyachtbid.com and openyachtrental.com platforms operated by Bella International Yacht Brokerage Turizm Ticaret Limited Şirketi.
1. Scope
This policy covers both auction/sale transactions on openyachtbid.com and charter bookings on openyachtrental.com; the payment methods and refund terms for each platform are set out separately below.
2. Cancellation and Refunds for Charter Bookings
Cancellation and refund terms for charter bookings made on openyachtrental.com follow the schedule set out in the charter agreement shared when the booking is confirmed. How much of the deposit is refundable and by what date is stated clearly at the booking step and in the charter agreement.
3. Sales Listings and Auctions
In sales formed through an auction on openyachtbid.com, bids are binding; once the reserve price is met an obligation to sell arises and there is no right of withdrawal (see Auction Terms). For this reason we strongly recommend inspecting the yacht, and carrying out a sea trial where available, before placing a bid. The auction fee collected is likewise non-refundable.
4. Card Refund Process and Timing
All amounts collected by card (charter deposits, auction fees, etc.) are refunded only to the card used for the payment; no cash or third-account refunds are made. Once a refund is approved it is submitted to the bank the same business day; depending on your bank it may take 2-10 business days to appear on your card account.
5. How to Request a Refund
Refund and cancellation requests can be sent to info@openyachtrental.com for charter bookings, to info@openyachtbid.com for sale/auction transactions, or by phone on the number listed on the Contact page. Including your booking or listing number and the payment date speeds up the process.
6. Governing Law
This policy is governed by Turkish law; the courts and enforcement offices of Fethiye have jurisdiction over disputes.
