Lagoon 450 2017

This 2017 Lagoon 450 is one of the most popular cruising catamarans in the Mediterranean. At 13.96 m long and 7.87 m wide she offers generous living space, while a 1.30 m draft lets her slip into shallow bays. Hull and deck are GRP, the design is by Van Peteghem — Lauriot Prévost (VPLP) and displacement is 16 tonnes.

The layout comprises four double cabins, each with its own en suite bathroom, heads and shower. There is also a crew cabin with two berths, for a total of 12 berths. The saloon holds air conditioning, a navigation centre and a chart table, with the dining area behind a sliding door onto the cockpit. The galley comes with a cooker, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, hot water system and coffee maker.

Power comes from twin 57 hp Yanmar 4JH57 diesels on sail-drives, for a cruising speed of 8 knots. A generator, inverter, battery charger, battery monitor, solar panel and watermaker are all fitted. The fuel tank holds 1,040 litres and the freshwater tank 700 litres, both with level indicators.

She has a flybridge, fixed hardtop, bimini, cockpit table and cushions, bathing platform, deck shower, electric windlass, two anchors, davits and a dinghy with outboard. Navigation electronics include a compass, depth sounder, wind set, VHF, autopilot, plotter/GPS and EPIRB; a life raft, lifejackets, safety harnesses and fire extinguishers are on board.
